While a student at Salt Institute, I produced this piece about a volunteer run project called F.I.S.H. (Friends Indeed Serve & Help) in one of the largest senior populations in the nation, rural Lincoln County, Maine. The area faces wide spread senior isolation. Its aging population has little to no public transportation. I focused on F.I.S.H. is senior-led volunteer group where drivers give rides to their more isolated peers, and in the process, build community. Audio, 2019 Give a listen via the soundcloud link!
