Drift State

Drift State. Heated boulder, bed, pillows, lights, gels, fabric. Baltimore, USA.

I built a minimally lit environment with an inviting centerpiece: a heated boulder planted in a simply dressed bed. The piece acted as a setting for performances and sleepy participants. It was commissioned for a 24 hour sleepover installation and performance event curated by The Soft House Gallery and The Contemporary Museum of Art in Baltimore.
